Objective

It is increasingly accepted that each nation should develop its indigenous (Swadeshi) model of economic growth. Unshackled from dogma of any shade, the model should aim at welfare of all.

This portal aims to provide a platform for debate on important economic issues, which leads to actual policy alternatives, while trying to build conceptual and theoretical consensus.

It will be our special endeavor to encourage activist citizens to develop specialised interest and study one or more topics in detail. This site will provide the facility to inter act among ourselves and to build consensus.

We believe that enlightened public opinion on economic issues is essential. It will be a counter balance to vested interests on one hand and pride and prejudice of experts on the other.

How This Site Works:

The subjects are classified under major subject head, major areas and topics. Viewers can post their comments, queries and contribute contents in form of articles, down-loads or copies of information published elsewhere, with proper acknowledgments/permissions. It will be our endeavor to gather comprehensive information and opinions on each topic.

Join us:

You can join us as a user/subscriber, as a content contributor or as an editor. As a registered user, you will be free to post your comments on the published material. As a content contributor, you may post/send your own write ups, articles or reports or send published materials elsewhere with proper acknowledgment/permission. Editor will monitor one or more topics, major areas or major subject heads. He/she will edit and approve the comments and contents for publishing. At an appropriate stage, the editor can attempt to build a consensus.

Registration process

As a first step, please register by following few simple steps. 

1) Click on Register. Fill in your preferred user name and your e-mail address.

2) Please send us an intimation e-mail to admin@swadeshineeti.org mentioning your user name. We will send you a pass word by e-mail.

3) Log in using the pass word sent to you by e-mail. Both username and pass word are case sensitive.

4) “Your profile and personal option” page will appear. You may change your password here. Fill in the details and also inform us in the space provided for “Biographical info”, in which capacity you would like to join us and the names of Topics/Major Areas or Subject heads in which you are interested.

5)  On updating “Your profile and personal option page”, you will automatically join us as user/subscriber. Your role as content contributor or editor will have to await confirmation from the site administrator.

6) Users/Subscribers: “Your profile and personal option” page will appear every time you log in. Here you can update your personal information and change pass word when necessary. By clicking on “visit site” on upper left hand side, you will access the home page.

In case of difficulty, send request by e-mail:

If you face any difficulty in registering on the site, send your request by e. mail to ADMIN at the e-mail address mentioned in the Feedback detail. admin@swadeshineeti.org. please mentions your full name and e-mail address. ADMIN will register you and send you a temporary pass word, which you can change, latter on.
